Purpose
MBI-2 - intrinsically safe barrier module is used to make detectors or sounder wiring safe in explosive areas and has marking "Ex II (2) G [Ex ib Gb] IIC" (for MBI-2) and "Ex II (2) G [Ex ib Gb] IIB" (for MBI-2(24V)).
2 models: MBI-2 and MBI-2(24V) - for connection to FCP wiring with operating voltage 12V or 24V respectively.
Devices can be connected to intrinsically safe lines:
- fire detectors SPD-2 «Tiras» Ex, SPT «Tiras» Ex and MCP SPR «Tiras» Ex;
- light signs OS Ex, light and sound sirens OSZ Ex;
- emergency abort devices EAD «Tiras» Ex and manual release devices MRD «Tiras» Ex.
